Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 13, 2026

Last updated: July 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how JenFryTalks LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use the Conflict Literacy Index website and assessment (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information from third parties.

Information you provide

  • Account information: name, email address, password (hashed), organization or team affiliation.
  • Assessment responses: your answers to the Conflict Literacy Index questionnaire and any free-text you enter.
  • Payment information: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
  • Communications: messages you send us via email or contact forms.

Automatically collected

  • Device and browser information, IP address, referring page, pages viewed, and timestamps.
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).

2. How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including scoring your assessment and generating results.
  • To create anonymized, aggregated benchmarks (e.g., team-vs-team, sport-average, division-average comparisons).
  • To process payments and send transactional emails (receipts, results, retake reminders).
  • To respond to your requests and provide customer support.
  • To detect fraud, abuse, and violations of our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal bases (EU/UK users)

We rely on: (a) performance of a contract with you; (b) your consent (for optional cookies and marketing); (c) our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service; and (d) compliance with legal obligations.

4. Sharing

We share personal information only with: (a) service providers acting on our behalf (see Subprocessors); (b) your organization or team administrator, if you took the assessment through them; (c) authorities when required by law; and (d) parties to a corporate transaction (merger, acquisition), with notice. We do not sell personal information.

5. Retention

We retain account and assessment data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period thereafter for backups, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).

6. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures — encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for the database, role-based access controls, and audit logging. No system is 100% secure; you use the Service at your own risk. See our Security Overview for more.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email info@jenfrytalks.com. California residents: see our Information Use Policy for CCPA-specific disclosures.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. Users aged 13–17 must have verifiable parent or guardian consent — see our Minors / Under-18 Policy.

9. International transfers

We are based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date and, where required, notified to you by email.
