Information Use Policy

Effective date: July 13, 2026

Last updated: July 13, 2026

This policy explains what we do — and do not do — with the information you provide.

1. What we use your information for

  • Delivering the Service: scoring your assessment, generating your results page, saving your history, and enabling retakes.
  • Team and organization reporting: if you took the assessment through a team or organization, we provide the administrator with aggregated results for their team and (where applicable) comparisons to sport-average or division-average benchmarks.
  • Personalized next steps: recommending coaching, small groups, workshops, or resources based on your results.
  • Product improvement: analyzing usage patterns and assessment performance to improve the questions, scoring, and interface.
  • Research and benchmarks: creating anonymized, aggregated statistics that compare cohorts (e.g., sport, division, role) without identifying individuals.
  • Communications: transactional emails (receipts, results, retake reminders every 365 days) and, with your consent, product updates.

2. What we do NOT do

  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We do not share your individual results with your employer, coach, or teammates unless you took the assessment through a team/organization account that explicitly disclosed this at signup.
  • We do not use your data to train third-party generative AI models.
  • We do not run behavioral advertising on this Service.

3. Aggregated and de-identified data

We may create and share aggregated or de-identified data (for example, "the average score in Division I women's basketball is X") for research, marketing, and product purposes. Aggregated data cannot reasonably be used to identify you and is not subject to the deletion rights in our Data Policy.

4. Marketing communications

We send transactional emails as part of the Service. Marketing emails are sent only if you opt in, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

5. California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

In the last 12 months we have collected the categories of personal information described in our Privacy Policy. We have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to know, delete, correct, and limit the use of sensitive personal information; email info@jenfrytalks.com to exercise these rights.
